Cantina Lavis Classici Merlot - Trentino DOC is a classic European interpretation of the Merlot grape, focused on achieving balance between fruit, structure, and elegance. In Trentino, the vineyards are located across both hilly and flat areas with alluvial and clay soils, allowing for even ripening of the grapes.

Merlot thrives in lighter, less fertile soils, which encourage early ripening and concentration of flavours. This results in better balance and a more expressive fruit profile.

The winemaking approach is measured - primarily concrete to preserve purity, with a small percentage of oak for structure. This allows the grape to remain the leading element without being overshadowed by oak influence.

Wine Facts & Culture
Merlot adapts well to different soils, but in lighter and stony terrains it produces more concentrated and balanced wines. That is why such soils are used in this region - to better control ripening.

Wine fact:
Merlot is one of the most versatile grape varieties in the world. In warmer regions it becomes fuller and softer, while in cooler climates it is more elegant and fresh. This makes it ideal for understanding the difference between “New World” and “Old World” styles.

For OneGift
This is a classic and well-balanced Merlot - an ideal gift when you are looking for a reliable choice with character, but without excessive heaviness.

Glenfiddich Project XX - When a Single Malt Is Created from 20 Different Perspectives

This is not just a product, but an idea brought to life through a process rarely used in the industry. In this article, you will see how this whisky was created and why it holds a distinct place in the Glenfiddich portfolio.
